Nominations for interested Board, Executive Advisory Council and Associate Positions
As a non-profit organization, GITEC is dependent on a strong commitment from its volunteers. All leadership participants are required to volunteer for at least one committee and to actively participate in local and annual meetings. Board members are reserved for active government senior-level positions, typically GS-15, SES or SL. The Executive Advisory Council and Associate positions are open to both Industry and Government volunteers. Although there are a limited number of positions available, GITEC is eager to accept volunteer assistance in support of its charter. Experience and support for GITEC are prerequisites for filling these positions.
If you are willing and able to volunteer your time, please complete the application so we may match your interests to a corresponding committee. The GITEC Nominations Committee will confirm receipt of your application. Nominations for open leadership positions will be reviewed at scheduled Board Meetings. However, volunteer assistance will be accepted based on matching interests. Note, Government employees must receive appropriate clearances from their ethics office before beginning this application. Please contact the GITEC staff if your ethics officer requires supporting documentation to complete the approval.
